What information does CH collect from our users and how do we collect it?
CH only contacts individuals who specifically request that we do so or in the event that they have chosen to place an online reservation. CH collects personally identifying information from our users during online registration and online purchasing. Generally, this information includes name, email address name, postal address, and credit card information when placing a reservation. All of this information is provided to us by you.
How do we use this information?
This information is used for internal marketing purposes only. CH does not sell, exchange, or release your personal information (name, email address, mailing address, credit data, etc.) Your information is not shared with any other third party or company outside of billing and shipping purposes.
Congos Hostel uses visitor information to deliver promotions and to monitor, analyze and report campaign results internally. This data is in a non-personally identifiable aggregate form designed to analyze general trends and usage patterns.
What are cookies and how do we use them?
Cookies help track a person’s “session” while online. By showing how and when our visitors use this site, this information can help us to continue to improve our site. Your information is stored in a database at the server that hosts the CH site. Your information can only be accessed by those who handle that database in order to manage the hostel reservations and tickets.

The privacy of children online is importance to us. In the event that you suspect Congos Hostel has any information about a visitor under the age of 18, please contact us immediately at support@congoshostel.com so all information can be deleted from our records.
Confidentiality
Congos Hostel will not sell or release identifiable visitor information to any third party without your permission and will limit disclosure of information to the following, where we believe in good faith that it is required to do so in response to a Subpoena or other legal process; where reasonably required to do so in order to maintain, update or otherwise implement Congos Hostel data security measures, equipment, technical operations, etc.; or where reasonably necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities to preserve and/or enforce Congos Hostel’s rights.
Congos Hostel makes all efforts to protect the confidentiality of all visitors and will never knowingly allow access to this information by any third party. We have made a significant investment in our server, database, backup and firewall technologies to protect information assets. These technologies have been installed as part of a complex security architecture and protocol.
